On Stage with Robert Ellsberg

This was one of the coolest events I’ve ever done – a conversation with Robert Ellsberg, on stage at the New York Historical Society. Robert was just thirteen when he helped his father, Daniel Ellsberg, copy the top secret Pentagon Papers. Like his more famous father, Robert hoped the exposure of these government secrets would help end the Vietnam War. Plus, as he told me, “I wanted to help my dad.” You can hear a recording of our event here.
