Just posted a new comic in the Walking and Talking series – an interview with the always-insightful Gene Luen Yang. He’s one of my favorite comics writers/artists, and it was especially fun to put him in a comic of my own. We met up in Boston a couple months back (hey, these comics take me a forever to finish) and I asked him about his new book The Shadow Hero. 
As Gene explains, the book picks up, and fills in the origin story of, the Green Turtle, a 1940s comics hero, and the first-ever Asian American superhero. “Possibly,” Gene adds, “arguably.” Green Turtle’s own origins are murky – which is just part of what makes Gene’s new book so great.
