Maybe the number one question I get at school visits is some variation of, “Which of your books do you like the best?” And I always go to the lame-sounding line about how they’re all my children, and I can’t really choose… There’s truth to that, but honsety, I do usually favorite my newest kid. So it’s with great pride that I see Born to Fly included in Best Of 2019 lists by both School Library Journal and Booklist!
